Join us for an exciting installment in the "VO Take Over: Intersektionale Interventionen" series! Mariama de Brito Henn, M.A. will present “Axé - Afrospirituelle Ikonographie in Brasilianischer Kunst” as part of the StEOP Introduction to Iconography course.

Through the "VO Take Over" initiative, led by Teresa Kamencek, Carola Korhummel, and Seda Pesen, the University of Vienna invites young scholars to offer intersectional and canon-critical insights. Six professors from the Faculty of Historical and Cultural Studies have passed the stage to new voices, fostering diversity in academia and challenging conventional narratives.
