Matilde Cartolari won a prize!

Matilde Cartolari was awarded the Special Medal of the President of the Senate by the Fondazione Spadolini in Florence for her PhD thesis Ambassadors of Beauty. Italian Old Masters and Fascist Cultural Diplomacy (1930-1940) (Supervision: Profs. Bénédicte Savoy - TU Berlin and Donata Levi - Università degli Studi di Udine). The prize ceremony of the 27th Premio Spadolini Nuova Antologia took place on May 15th at the University of Florence.

The Fondazione Spadolini awards annual prizes for the best MA and PhD thesis devoted to Italian modern cultural and political history.
