Renée Riedler

Renée Riedler is a conservator at the Weltmuseum Wien with 23 years of experience. Her responsibilities include preventive conservation, preparing collection items for exhibition, and researching materials from birchbark to skin. Her focus of interest is the interpretation and care of featherwork, which made her join research projects at the Getty Conservation Institute and the American Museum of Natural History. She received an MA in literary studies from the University of Vienna and an MA in Conservation from the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
