Cécile Mendy

Cécile Mendy graduated from Gaston Berger University in the heritage trades department. She worked as an exhibition assistant in several cultural institutions, notably the Théodore Monod Museum of IFAN (Institut Fondamental d'Afrique Noire) in Dakar, where she was responsible for the management of its collections. She also participated in setting up the permanent exhibition of the Museum. Furthermore, she is a drafting member of the Youth Declaration on the involvement of local communities in the conservation and enhancement of UNESCO World Heritage at the 38th summit of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC) in Doha, Qatar.
