Alisa Santikarn

Alisa Santikarn is a University Assistant (Post-Doc) on the Global Conversation Project (GloCo) at the University of Vienna. She was previously a Phyllis and Eileen Gibbs Travelling Research Fellow with Newnham College and an Evans Fellow in the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge. She holds a PhD in Archaeology, a M.Phil in Archaeological Heritage and Museums, and a BA in Human, Social, and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Her first book is Indigenous Heritage and Identity of the Last Elephant Catchers in Northeast Thailand, published with Amsterdam University (2025).
